Bob Sainsbury

After a long battle with cancer, Bob passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2025.

Bob was born on April 14, 1943, to Nel (Ellen) and Percy in Dauphin, Manitoba, the fourth of six children.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Judy, his parents, his sister Irene, his brothers-in-law Bob & Peter and his great niece Quincy.

Bob is survived by his partner Barb, his children Bobbi (Harry), Raymond (Jen), his step-daughters Denise (Scott), Pamela (Steve), his sisters Agnes, Eldeana, Margaret, and brother Art (Sonia), his grandchildren Chris (Jasmine), Nicole, Sabrina, Kaleesha, Jayla, great grandchildren Rowan and Daphne as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bob was a huge sports fan and a lifelong fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

We’ll always remember his witty comments and dry sense of humour.

Bob loved spending time with family and friends, usually having a beverage.

Cremation will take place and Bob's family will be hosting a graveside memorial on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. from the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery.

Should friends so desire, donations in Bob's memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, or to a charity of one's choice.

Bob will always be in our hearts.
