Clifford Doan Obituary

It is with heavy sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Clifford Allan Doan.

Clifford was born on December 3, 1935 and passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Cliff was born in Birch River, Manitoba grew up, and went through school in Flin Flon and began working construction at the age of 15. He also spent many years driving Taxi and Semi Trucks before moving to Swan River, where he was an auto-mechanic. He met his sweet heart, Evelyn Josephin Jamieson in 1957 in Swan River. They married in 1958 , and had 3 children, Richard Allan Doan (wife Lori), Sandy Lynn Babee (husband Alfred), Kelly Doan (friend Jamie) along with 4 grandchildren, Justin Babee, Tess Doan (friend Kole), Kyle Doan (friend Allie), Mikayla Doan, as well as 3 great grandchildren, Jaycelynn, Noah, and Elijah. Clifford is survived by his wife Evie, sister Lorraine Turcott (husband Bob), nephew Robert Macdougall, and Niece Tina Macdougall. Clifford was predeceased by his father John Doan, Mother Tina Doan, and brother Arnold Doan. We all miss you Cliff, but we know that you are with Jesus after your many years of service to The Lord, working in the church and your favorite service to god of all others was praying for people. When asked "how are you doing Dad?" you would always say "Straight up and a mile west". As for Evie (wife); "We took our vows together and said 'Til death do us part, but God came and took your hand, my whole world fell apart. No one knows the heartache I try so hard to hide, only God knows how many times I've broken down and cried. When I look back upon our lives, one of the things that makes me glad, is that you chose me to share with you."

In accordance with Cliff's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Please remember Cliff as you knew him.
