Faren Kennedy

It is with great sadness that the family of Faren Kennedy, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, (formally from Winnipegosis, Manitoba), announce her passing on December 31st, 2025, at the age of 39 years. Private services are being held, and cremation will follow, with a public service to be held in Duck Bay at a later date.  

Faren was predeceased by her brother: Terry Moosetail, grandparents: James D. Parenteau, Irene C. Parenteau, aunt: Linda Parenteau, cousins: Cory J. Parenteau, and Corrine Fagnan. 

Faren is survived by her six children, that she loved dearly, Jayce (Billie), Aliyah, Angel, Mckayla, Brendon, and Jayden Kennedy. Parents: Yvette Parenteau (Marc) and John Kennedy, brother: Byron Kennedy, nieces, nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and friends. 

Faren was born May 1st, 1986, in Dauphin, Manitoba to her parents Yvette Parenteau and John Kennedy. Faren grew up in Winnipegosis with her parents and two brothers. Faren was the middle child. She went to Winnipegosis Elementary School then went to Winnipegosis Colligate. 

Faren had many friends growing up and in her adult years. Faren was loved by everyone that was involved in her life. Faren began her family and had her six children, that she had loved with all her heart. Life had a different plan for Faren. She had moved to Winnipeg for a few years of her life, until her passing. Faren loved her family and friends. Faren was a daughter, mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and best friend. Faren would call her family to tell them she loved them. Those random calls and visits are sure going to be missed forever and ever. Faren enjoyed telling stories about her younger years and making everyone laugh. She had a laugh that would light up the room, and she always had a smile when she saw you.  

There will not be a day that goes by that she will not be thought of and missed dearly by her family and friends.
