Keith Reginald Johnston, of Dauphin, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 79.
Keith was born the youngest of twin boys in Rosetown, SK to Reginald and Evelyn Johnston. Keith is survived by his loving children, Kimberly (Mark) Houston and Jason (Laura) Johnston; grandchildren: Randi and Justin Bernat, and Katie and Emma Johnston; partner, Jan Kuzuchar; siblings: Donna Allan (Clarence Smith); Bob (Charlotte) Johnston, and Ronald (Marilyn) Johnston; sisters-in-law, Norma Domney, Denise (Ken) Pateman, Sandy Bykerk, Elaine Niccolls, Eugene (Cheryl) Mazzei, Randy Mazzei; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents; loving wife, Patricia Johnston; brother, Ken Johnston; in-laws Eugene and Anna Mazzei; and brother-in-law: Clayton Allan.
Keith appreciated the simple things of life; spending time with his children and grandchildren in Brandon or California, playing golf, and a good walk. He was a hard worker and loyal friend to all who came to know him.
Should friends so desire, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in honor of his late wife, Patricia Johnston and to the Parkland Humane Society.
