Leonard George Wright

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Leonard “Len” Wright on February 2, 2025 at the age of 86 years, following a lengthy and courageous battle for life.

Len leaves to mourn his loving wife of over 61 years Odette (nee Swan); sister Shirley Hanula; brothers-in-law Gerald (Betty Mason), Edgar (Marion) and Luke; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents George and Rose Wright; brother Donald; brother-in-law Bill Hanula; parents-in-law Stephen and Henriette Swan; sisters-in-law Rose Swan, Simone (Clifford) Chevrier and Lucille Gaultier.

A private celebration of Len’s life will be held in Gilbert Plains, MB, with burial taking place at Eldon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Len’s memory to a charilty of one’s choice.
