Lillian Stobbe

It is with deep sadness that we announced the passing of Lillian Joyce Stobbe of Dauphin, Manitoba on June 15th, 2023 at the age of 73.

Lillian was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba to Ernest and Emily Schultz on June 9th, 1950, and grew up near Moosehorn, Manitoba near the Martin school District.

Lillian married Kenneth John Stobbe on April 18, 1970, her greatest moments in life were when they adopted Derek and Shaylyn. Lillian and Ken raised their family in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. She worked numerous positions with Manitoba health for 40 years as well as MTS and Manitoba hydro. Lillian had an extreme passion for animals and rescuing them, she also enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lillian will be missed by her children, Derek (Karla) and Shaylyn (Kevin); grandchildren Jenna, Jessica, Jocelyn, Brayden, Ashlyn, Kaysen and Makayla; great grandchildren Freddie, Scarlett, Maverick and Sophie along with numerous extended family and friends.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband Ken; parents Ernest and Emily Schultz; sister Beverly and brother-in-law Gordon Affleck; father and mother-in-law John and Gladys Stobbe.

A celebration of Lillian’s life was held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from Pathways Funeral Services, inurnment followed in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery.
