On October 18, 1949, Marie married Michael Dohan, and together they raised four children, William, Albert, Gail, and Robert.  Mom loved her children and was so proud of them.  She loved to keep everyone happy & fed.  She loved having her family around her, when family came home, she was always feeding us, and always had a to do list.  She loved making cookies for her great grandchildren and made sure that they always went home with cookies.  She would spend hours in the kitchen with Gary to get Christmas dinner ready.

She loved her chickens & making sure all her egg orders were filled, she also loved giving a slice of bread with butter to Patches, her little furry friend.  Her great grand children always loved going to “Chicken Baba’s” place.

Marie was involved with the Ukrainain Dance Group, Ethelbert Drop-In Centre, Vitriwka Choral Ensemble as well as a 50 plus year member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League, which included being president for many years, mom took this very seriously and went to many conventions, and always made sure she made a great representation of the Ethelbert UCWL.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Walter & Nellie Bilinsky (Burdeniuk), husband Michael Dohan, her infant daughter Nancy, father-in-law John Dohan, and mother-in-law Anastasia Dohan, and her sister Ann Ezowske.

Marie is survived, and lovingly remembered by her children, William (Louise), Albert (Norine), Gail (Gary), Robert (Debbie).  Grandchildren, Tanya, Melissa (Mark), Kristen (Andre).  Great Grandchildren, Adriana, Isabella, Jaxon, Griffin, Samuel, and Abigail.  Brother-in-law Lawrence Ezowske, and special niece Carmen McLean, as well as many other nieces, and nephews, and her furry friend Patches the dog.
