John predeceased her in October 1992.
She is lovingly remembered by her four sons: Trent of Dauphin, MB, Terry (Cinda) of Aldergrove, BC, Mark (Angela) of Dauphin, MB, and Miles (Annu) of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren Deanne, Joeline ( Jeff ), Tyler (Kandice), Krystal (James Morrison), Natalie (James Sleightholm), Antonia, Sara, Jonathan, Nakita, Amelia, Ahren, and Ashwin; as well as great-grandchildren Milah, Ophelia, Ronan, Loic, Nola, Kassidy, Keagan, Heather, Jayden, Lucas, Kingston, Kaliana and Summer.

Family gatherings often stretched late into the evening over spirited games of Hand and Foot Canasta or dominos. An avid gardener, she only recently decided at age 91 that she likely would not plant a garden this year. She also loved crocheting and donated many handmade items to the local hospital auxiliary.
